Kraft Hockeyville 2011 Prediction

The winner of Kraft Hockey 2011 will be announced 5 days from today, April 2, 2011.  It has been a long and enjoying battle for many communities competing to be number one for Kraft Hockeyville this year.  I say Good luck to all Kraft Hockeyville top 5, but here is my prediction on which town will be the winner this year.
On April 2, 2011, all five will be winners, but only one will be crowned number one for Kraft Hockeyville 2011.  There are four runner-up prizes of $ 25,000 and a grand prize of $ 100,000 for arena upgrades w/ a complementary per-season NHL game.
I hope Wolfe Island is Kraft Hockeyville 2011 and takes home the competition.  Over the last week, after CBC announced the Kraft Hockeyville 2011 top 5, I had done a little research.  Here is my findings with predictions.
First Round Voting for Kraft Hockeyville 2011
Conception Bay South, NL outnumbered Antigonish, NS -- 460,287 to 298,867 votes.  Saint Raymond, Que outnumbered Chateauguay, Que -- 204,894 to 81,644 votes.  Wolfe Island, ON outnumbered Navan, ON -- 265,299 to 149,921 votes.  Bentley, AB outnumbered Brandon, Man -- 242 055 to 77,641 votes.  Mackenzie, BC outnumbered Fort Nelson, BC -- 242 055 to 147,047 votes

Successful Blogging

How do you define successful blogging?  Is it; having views? Having followers? How often you blog? What is it?
Are you a successful blogger if you post amazing articles but no one reads them?  Is successful blogging when others respond?  What if you post once and a while and get your friends to read it?
There is no drought in my mind to be a successful blogger you need to use your public relations skills to get your information cycled around.  Twitter one of the most amazing tools for bloggers to use.  Twitter can have your information seen across the globe in seconds; you just need to know how to say it properly in 180 characters.   Facebook however can be a useful tool but takes a little more time to get started and build a group of followers.
I would say I have been successfully blogging.  Most other classmates have less than 250 views.

I would never hide how many views i have had, unlike others. Thank you to my trust worthy followers I have had 11,357 page views in the

Loyalist PR Comes to an End

Thirty three posts about Loyalist PR later and it’s OVER.  It’s been a long time coming and I am so glad it’s here.  What trip it has been to get to today.
The last few weeks have been busy with events, assignment and reports.  Loyalist PR does so much work in March.  March is by far the busiest month for Loyalist PR.  What the future leads for us public relations students I am not sure.  For the next four weeks our class will be on our internships.
First semester was a breeze, didn’t even notice it passed by.  Second Semester started similar but quickly picked up pace.  When March hit we were stormed with work.  February was steady.  March, I Blinked and it’s the 26th.  Where did the time go?
Currently classmates are going all across Ontario and a few across Canada.  Will we ever meet again?  My theory is; if we are good at what we do, than I’m sure we will hear about each other?  Will they all follow in the same field?  Only the future will tell.  Now is only the beginning.
Our class filled with a wide verity of people with a wide range of skills.  Some classmate I will miss more than others, but I was also too busy to get to know everyone well enough to call them all friends.  Good times and bad, Loyalist PR was an experience I will never forget.
I’ve posted now 33 times about Loyalist PR, I am not sure if I’m done yet.  I should pass this torch on to next year’s students.  It’s been a long year, alot has happened.
If you Google “Loyalist PR” I’m the only student to show up on the first page.  I would say I’ve promoted them really well.  More views on my blog than all other classmates.  I assisted my town and

Good Luck to every arena in the top five for Kraft Hockeyville 2011, but I have sent out my support to WOLFE ISLAND, ONTARIO.  Wolfe Island, I have been honoured to lend you my experience on social media for this contest to become KRAFT HOCKEYVILLE 2011.  I have gotten the support of others from Belleville, Ontario and surrounding area.  We are all behind you, and the votes have already started.
Congratulations again to all the arenas but GO Wolfe Island GO.
There is only 37 hours left to vote, that is just over a day and a half.  Everyone had two days to vote as of last night when they announced the Kraft Hockeyville Top 5 on Hockey Night In Canada, during the intermission.
The Kraft Hockeyville  top five arenas are;
  Alan Sheppard Arena, Mackenzie.
  Bentley Arena, Bentley.
Robert French Memorial Arena, Conception Bay South.
  Wolfe Island Arena, Wolfe Island.
  Arena Saint Raymond, Saint Raymound.
Congratulations again to the Kraft Hockeyville 2011 Top Five.
They need a roof, they play on a lake, they are in Ontario, and it would be much easier for me to travel there.  Wolfe Island's story touched me and it’s closest to home, I ask everyone else reading to vote for Wolfe Island, Ontario.
I ask that you support Wolfe Island in Kraft Hockeyville 2011, and make them the number one winner in Kraft Hockeyville 2011, which would extremely help their arena in upgrades.  Wolfe Island is a friendly little island, with small amount of people and I am sure they would thank all the supporters of their competition for Kraft Hockeyville 2011.

Rovers Irish Pub Review

Over the last week I have spent a good amount of time at Rovers Irish Pub in Belleville, Ontario.
Planning events is not easy but it is always good to see when you have a successful one.  In public relations you need to be able to deliver success in your event planning.
This year I was working with some classmates from Loyalist PR on this event, which was held this week.  The event was for the QAC (Quinte Arts Council), which was held at Rovers Irish Pub in Belleville Ontario.  The event was also Rovers Irish pub’s grand opening.
I would say the event was a huge success, our team leader Grace Scutella did an amazing job as leader holding the group together and getting things done.  Rovers Irish Pub was in my opinion was lead by their amazing food.  Their head chef Paul cooks amazing food no matter what it is.  During our event Stirling Friend (Grace’s Son), assisted Paul in the kitchen and the two of them ran waves of orders, always sending out success.  The two chefs were some of the fastest working chefs i have ever seen.
I would like to thank everyone that attended the event; it could not have been a success without everyone.  I would also like to say thank you to Rovers Irish Pub for being great hosts & assisting in the success of our event.
Rovers Irish Pub is in my opinion has some of the best food in Belleville Ontario. Rover Irish Pub is also a pub with good beer but beer just tastes like the brand of beer.  Rovers Irish Pub does have a variety of Irish beer, which I am not experienced in.  Rovers Irish Pub is Located in downtown Belleville.
