In a newly created company, Roberta Denyes works hard as CEO, and management of her business called Directions Unlimited, A small business that helps other entrepreneurs to pursue their dreams of starting a business. Working on brainstorming, setting goals, giving directions, planning a profitable marketing strategy and teaching others social media, Denyes is focused on being a good leader and giving others direction in their lives. Denyes also never gives up on education, taking in everything she can get to improve her knowledge.
“You never really know where you’re going to end up, but unless you get your foot in the door, you will not be able to find the direction you should be going in.” Denyes said. After moving around the world and working in different financial industries, Denyes had found her calling back in Canada, after getting her GED (General Equivalency Diploma), than BBA (Bachelors of Business Administration), and ABC (Aboriginal Business Certificate). She found her calling as it came in the form of leadership, when she started the Fredericton Native Friendship Center, leading others and giving them direction.
Her biggest achievement was establishing a Board of Directors run by youth to develop a youth program. During which she met great leaders that she would always feel encouraged by their leadership in their communities. “My career goal is to develop a business that offers advice and leadership to small business entrepreneurs. My success will be when I witness a business grow into something great.” said Denyes.
